I wouldn't say I'm a blogger. And honestly speaking, I didn't think I would ever start a blog at all! Turns out using Blogspot is actually pretty complicated.. Well, the reason why I'm actually creating this blog right now is because I have lots of spare time. I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in May and I'm about to attend university at the University of Bath, UK. And school starts in September.
You see why I have so much time now.
Anyways, during this period before I start school, I've been travelling quite a lot.
And I wanted to have a space where I can write about the places I've been to and also document the special moments in my life. Especially now that I'm about to go to England! (Not exactly sure how I'm going to cope with that). But I love travelling. So having the opportunity to study in a whole new environment is going to be very exciting (and scary!) for me.
I recently came across an article: 8 Steps to freedom: How I quit my job and traveled around the world and found myself so inspired by her story! Reading this made me so glad I chose to study abroad. I know quitting your job sounds a little far fetched right now since I haven't even started working, but I truly believe in making traveling around the world a life goal.
"Making a big life change is scary indeed. But you know what's even scarier? Regret. Sometimes we have to risk something. You might lose, but you gain even something better. If you don't try, you'll never find out."
Alright, so that's all about me for now. I will keep try to keep this blog updated as often as I can and I hope you will also find inspiration in my stories and travels!
